About Brian

Brian has two loves, his Family and The Town of Cobourg:
  • Born and raised in Cobourg

  • Married for 45 years to his wife Lillian

  • Has two daughters and four grandchildren

  • Town of Cobourg Councillor since 2014. Most recently, as Councillor, Brian served as Co-ordinator of Public Works from 2018 -2022. 

  • Retired Captain of the Cobourg Fire Department in 2012 with over 30 years of dedicated service

  • Served as a Big Brother for 11 years and nominated as Big Brother of the Year

  • Volunteer at Cobourg Community Centre for the COVID-19 vaccination clinic, RBC Cup, World Junior A Challenge and Blue Rodeo Concert

Why Brian is running for Cobourg Council

"...after nearly 40 years of serving the community I would like to continue doing just that! I believe the contributions I have made whether it be the services I provided as a firefighter or the previous decisions at Council, they have all contributed to make Cobourg a great place to live."
